Okay, so if I'm careful, my shoulder should be well enough for me to spend some time at the computer today. Obviously with having a tribute this round, gamemaker will be my top priority, but hopefully I'll be caught up with the rest of my games by the end of the week.

Aaaand I have a job interview next Tuesday. Go me?

We're celebrating my brother's birthday early this year (I'm still going to be traditional and get him his present on the actual day), so I won't be around much. But if anyone wants to backlog something between yours and mine before the kiddos go into the Arena, let me know.

I bought some second hand cookbooks and some skeins of wool today. This should be interesting...

I'm requesting books from the library. Our branch is part of a city-wide network, so I can reserve books from other branches and they send them to mine.

Any recommendations?

This is good timing since it's the lull between my two Hunger Games RPs, and feinted is drawing to a close, but I feel as though I need to put RP on the backburner for a while and do recreational things which don't involve logging into IJ. I have an original fiction muse for once. I feel like drawing again. I want to catch up on my reading list. And so forth.

I've been browsing digital art galleries, so I'll share some of my favourites:

• Kundry Land. Her drawings make me want to live in them. They're like a more whimsical, grown-up version of Narnia - one where Susan is allowed to wear stockings and lipstick (don't even get me started on that). I like this and this.
  
• Wen-Xi Chen. I've just found her! My favourite so far is this.
  
• Sergi Brosa. I love his cartoon style. This one is great.
  
• Benita Winckler. I found her because I got her work confused with Linda Bergkvist's! This one is very striking. Her homepage doesn't seem to have much in the way of stuff to look at, but if you do an internet search, you'll find quite a few of her pieces via independent hosts.
  
• Cris Ortega. I'm not such a fan of her anime-style art, but I love her newer stuff. This is my favourite of hers.

This post makes me realise how seldom I've checked epilogue.net recently. I need to fix that.

Edit: Also, this lighter take on the Game of Thrones universe. LMAO.
